May 10, 2012: "The Snowflake Theory" opens The Bard's Town Theatre's 2012 season. Show runs through May 20.
August 30, 2011: The Bard is thrilled to announce that beginning Wednesday, September 7, we will be hosting a weekly Pub Trivia night at 8 PM.
July 25, 2011: The Bard's Town celebrated its first birthday with record sales over the weekend! The Bard would like to thank all who came out to celebrate with him.
June 28, 2011: The Young, Dumb, and Full of Comedy Show, the edgy bi-weekly Friday night comedy show at The Bard's Town, now has its own website. Check it out!
June 22, 2011: The Bard's Town is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting the Louisville Comedy Underground beginning this Thursday! We also will be playing host to a weekly improvisation class for The Louisville Improvisors.
June 16, 2011: We're currently working on improving our patio to create the best experience in town. Combine that with our food, our music and comedy, and--of course--the live theatre, and we think we're building something special.
June 1, 2011: The first Bard's Town Theatre resident production, Chasing Ophelia by Doug Schutte, ran May 11-21. The production, directed by Scot Atkinson and featuring Ryan Watson, Beth Tantanella, Nadeem Zaman, Jason Cooper, Tad Timberlake, and Doug Schutte, played to sold out houses and critical acclaim. Reviews included the LEO Weekly Review (by Marty Rosen) and The Arts Louisville Review (by Kate Barry).
